Camp summary
The Summit City Baseball Academy is a one of a kind developmental baseball camp for student athletes grades 5-12. This camp will be hosted in the Fort Wayne area featuring locally raised, college and professional baseball players. Current Indiana Hoosiers Carter Mathison and Brayden Risedorph will be teaming up with Northern Kentucky Outfielder Treyvin Moss, Minnesota Twins Pitcher Tanner Gaff, as well as Major League Special Guests, to host the next generation of Fort Wayne baseball players. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity coming to the Summit City on December 27-30.
The Summit City Baseball Academy will be split up into two parts; two days for Grades 5-8 and two days for High School. Each part will have a hitting and pitching session, with each session lasting 2 ½ hours each day.

Carter Mathison is a current Sophomore at Indiana University from the Fort Wayne area. Growing up, Carter played travel ball for the Summit City Sluggers, Indiana Mustangs, and Indiana Bulls Black while playing High School baseball for Homestead High School in Southwest Fort Wayne.

During his Senior Season at Homestead, Mathison was named Team MVP and Team Captain as he led the State in Home Runs (16) and Runs Scored (64), while also finishing 2nd in RBIs with 53. Following that season he was named Indiana’s Mr. Baseball.

Before heading to Indiana, Carter was ranked the 264th best prospect in the 2021 MLB Draft. However, the Mathison family put a lot of value in going to school so he decided Bloomington was the place to be. At Indiana, Carter is studying Business Management at the Kelley School of Business. During his Freshman season Carter absolutely dominated the Big Ten. Almost no Kyle Schwarber or Alex Dickerson Freshman Record was safe in 2022, as Carter broke multiple records in his Freshman Season. Heading into the 2023 Spring, Carter is expected to compete for the Big Ten HR lead and be a key leader for the Hoosiers.

Meet Brayden

Bio:
- Brayden is heading into his Freshman season at Indiana, where he will be teammates with Fort Wayne native and camp colleague Carter Mathison. After originally committing to play college baseball at Parkland College, a Junior College in Illinois, Brayden decided to switch his commitment to the Hoosiers last fall.
- Risedorph ended his travel ball career in the summer of 2021 with a bang. Playing in the Baseball Factory All-American Game, East Coast Pro, and even playing for the Reds Scout Team in Jupiter, FL. His ranking continued to rise throughout the fall to become the #2 prospect in Indiana for the 2022 class and the #47 prospect in the 2022 MLB Draft
- Although Brayden did not get drafted in the 2022 MLB Draft, he is expected to compete for important innings down the stretch at Indiana in the Spring of 2023 and is a name to watch in the 2025 MLB Draft.Cart

Meet Treyvin

Bio:
- Treyvin Moss is currently a Redshirt Senior Outfielder at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. Baseball has been in Treyvin’s life from a very young age. With the help of his dad Randy Moss, Treyvin first picked up a bat when he was 2 years old. From the beginning of Treyvin’s career, his dad made sure to train him as a left handed hitter to ensure he had the advantage when facing right handed pitchers.
- Treyvin began his High School career at Lakewood Park High School before playing at Blackhawk Christian as a Sophomore and Concordia Lutheran as a Junior and Senior. During his Senior season, Treyvin was able to pick up multiple Junior College oers before gaining interest from the NKU coaching sta the summer of graduation.
- Treyvin was redshirted his Freshman Season, however, since then he has started almost every game for NKU. This past season Treyvin started in all 51 games he played in .292 with 3 HRs, 15 Doubles, 35 RBIs, and 10 SBs. With 2 years of eligibility left, Treyvin is expected to be a team leader at NKU the next couple seasons.

Meet Tanner
Affiliate Team: Minnesota Twins

Bio:
- Tanner Gaff is a recently signed Pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization. After playing for Whitko High School, Tanner committed to St. Francis as a two way player. Tanner was a P/1B/DH in his first four seasons at St. Francis before becoming a PO (Pitcher Only) during his extra Covid fifth year in 2021.
- During his final season at St. Francis, Tanner implemented Driveline Training Baseball to increase his pitching velocity. After the season, he began to use Tread Athletics to continue to evolve his game. After the 2021 Summer, an opening became available on the St. Francis Coaching Sta. Ga decided to take up the role while continuing to evolve his game. Going through the 2022 Spring, Tanner began to post pitching videos on social media, which caught the attention of the Minnesota Twins. Not long after that, Tanner was signing with the team.
- When on the mound, Tanner flashes a high 3⁄4 arm slot with 5 pitches. Those pitches include a four seam fastball, slider, cutter, splitter, and a curveball. His fastball sits at 91-94 and his splitter shows the most promise.
